Kumasi Asante Kotoko won a record 25 Ghana Premier League title this afternoon, June 2, 2022 after a 1-all draw with city rivals Ashanti Gold.
Kotoko prior to this afternoon’s game needed only a point to clinch the GPL title from sworn enemies Accra Hearts of Oak who haven’t been impressive both in the local league and on the African continent.
Guess who’s called to congratulate the players…former captain, Felix ‘Kooko’ Annan!!😍#AKSC #GPL2122Champions #Family pic.twitter.com/QDmJ6GHDLk
