Mother of the girl who was allegedly taken out of school by her father for a money ritual, Evelyn Kemeh, has stated that her daughter knew she was going to be used for ritual sacrifice.
According to her, her daughter jokingly made this statement when the mother told her the man asked if she is called Yaa.
“After talking to her father on phone, I went and told her that her dad will be coming for her on Thursday to buy shoes and sew clothes for her. I asked what her response will be to her dad repeatedly asking if she is called Yaa, she then responded that maybe he will be using me for money rituals and we all laughed over it,” she explained.
“My babyfather said he wanted to pick up the child and get her a dress….” #GTVBreakfast

Speaking on the GTV Breakfast Show, she added that from what the man asked her, she sensed something bad was going to happen.
“I received a call from her father at 10 p.m. He told me that his friend who stays outside the country will be leaving so he wants him to sew clothes for our daughter so he would come for her on Thursday at 12pm from her school. He asked twice if she is called Yaa and I responded yes. I kept thinking about what he asked me,” she added.
