African Football giants Al Ahly have announced that they have parted ways with head coach Pitso Mosimane.
The former Mamelodi Sundowns coach joined the Egyptian side in 2020 after winning 11 trophies in his eight years in the PSL.
Pitso Mosimane, who was the first non-Egyptian African to coach Al Ahly, 2 CF champions league trophies, two consecutive CAF Super Cups, the Egypt Cup and finished third at the FIFA Club World Cup two times in a row.
A statement released by the club indicates that though the club wanted Pitso to stay but the South African decided to leave as a result of been satisfied with his achievements to so far.
Meanwhile, Al Ahly lost the 2021-2022 CAF Champions League finals to WAC of Morocco.
