A Poly Tank Factory near the Kumasi Shoe Factory in Atonsu Agogo has been gutted by fire.
A gas tanker discharging fuel at the company reportedly caught fire resulting in the explosion.
GBC Ashanti Regional Correspondent, Nicholas Osei Owusu said, ”everything has been burnt to ashes, however, due to the swift response by the Fire Service Team, there were no casualties”.
Mr. Osei Owusu added that people living around the area including students have been evacuated and everything is under control.
Reports indicate that three persons were severely injured.
