Ghana Broadcasting Corporation’s multi skilled journalist Akosua Adjei will host the 2022 Total Energies Women’s Africa Cup of Nations on GTV Sports.
The WAFCON will be telecasted from 2nd July to 23rd July on Ghana’s only 24 hour sports channel.
After the budding sportscaster successfully hosted the maiden edition of the CAF Women’s Champions League in September, the onus fell on her to anchor the 2022 edition.
The 14th edition will see 12 countries battle for the ultimate including host Morocco, defending champions Nigeria, South Africa, Zambia, Tunisia, Uganda, Senegal, Cameroon, Botswana, Burundi, Burkina Faso and Togo.
Meanwhile, GTV Sports+ coverage starts at 7:30 pm on 2nd July with host Akosua Adjei. She will be joined by Abigail Sena Sosu and Ayishatu Ali Zakaria.
