The National Democratic Congress, NDC has declined an invitation in the name of the Atta Mills Institute and Coastal Development Authority, CODA to the inauguration of the renovated Asomdwee Park, which is the final resting place of the late John Evans Atta Mills.
In a statement, the party requested the Coastal Development Authority to withdraw the invitation to the advertised function and meet with the NDC and his immediate family, to review arrangements for the inauguration to reflect the true purpose and outlook of the Asomdwee Park.
It said until that is done, the NDC will not participate in the proposed event.
