More fire cases have been recorded in the first half of 2022 compared to the same period in 2021.
3,678 fires were recorded during the first half of the year, as against 3,030 fires.
Properties worth ¢30 million were lost to the inferno, according to the Ghana National Fire Service.
The service is therefore calling on the public to put in measures that would help mitigate fire incidents in the country.
