A Labour Expert, Mr. Austin Gamey says the Social Security and National Insurance Trust (SSNIT) alone as an institution can bail out the government with not less than the Three Billion Dollars ($3bn).
Speaking in an interview, Mr. Gamey explained that there was no need for the government to go to IMF for a bailout since she can generate enough revenue from SSNIT internally.
In his view, SSNIT alone should be able to provide the government with the substantial amount of money required to tackle the challenges facing the country.
“We don’t need to go to IMF, we have the entire money from SSNIT alone,” the Labour Expert consultant reiterated.
