Sam Okudzeto and Associates (SOA) marks its 50th Anniversary as a law firm this year and as part of the activities commemorating the anniversary, the firm will pay a visit to the Nsawam Medium Security Prisons.

The Firm will donate some medical supplies, food items, sanitary products, among others, to inmates of the Nsawam Medium Security Prisons.

This visit is scheduled to take place on Friday, 11th November 2022 between 10am and 1pm.

Members of the firm will visit, interact, and donate to both the Male and Female sections of the Nsawam Prisons.

The visit is particularly significant to the firm for several reasons. The Senior Partner of the firm, Mr. Sam Okudzeto, has served on the Board of the Prisons Ministry for many years and continues to advocate for prison reforms and restorative justice.

While explaining the rationale behind this visit as part of the firm’s anniversary activities, Mr. Okudzeto made the following remarks:

“The firm, Sam Okudzeto and Associates has grown through 50 years of legal excellence, and we are delighted to celebrate this remarkable feat. However, the history of this firm cannot be fully recounted if we omit to refer to our engagements and work with the prisons over these years. As a former political prisoner on four different occasions, I have a special personal connection with prisons and the welfare of inmates. I have been a member of the Prisons Ministry of Ghana for several years and continue to serve on its Board. For over 20 years, I have spent every Christmas with inmates to demonstrate love and care, and to encourage them. We are pleased to celebrate this milestone with them.”
