A Press Release from the National Service Scheme dated December 23rd, 2022 on the recommendations made by the Committee of Enquiry into matters involving the Former Ashanti Regional Director of NSS and a Nurse at the Manhyia Government Hospital on Sunday November 27, 2022 leading to his suspension has brought out their final report.
The Committee recommended that Mr. Alex Opoku-Mensah, the NSS Regional Director be suspended for two months with no pay.
Furthermore, he is to report to the Head office after serving his suspension to work under supervision.
Mr. Opoku-Mensah is also to issue an apology to the National Service Scheme for bringing disrepute to its name.
The statement was signed by the Executive Director of the National Service Scheme, Mr Osei Assibey Antwi.
