Two American rappers, Kanye West and J. Cole, are rumoured to be in Ghana as surprise guests for the Black Star Line Festival, which is happening today, January 6, at the Black Star Square, Accra.
Since the news broke on social media, many music lovers have been tweeting and expressing their excitement.

Kanye West is scheduled to perform at the Black Star Line Festival, according to Ghanaian DJ and broadcaster Ebenezer Donkor in a tweet on January 5, 2023.

“I’m gathering info that Kanye West will be the surprise act at the Black Star Line Festival in Ghana this weekend,” the New York DJ wrote on Twitter on Thursday (January 5).
In another tweet, KalyJay, a Ghanaian Social Media influencer, also posted that he saw American rapper, J. Cole at a well-known restaurant in Accra.

The Black Star Festival is set to take place tonight, and it is curated by rappers Vic Mensa and Chance The Rapper.
Black Star Square, Black Star Line Festival is a celebration of Pan-Africanism, building bridges between Black people and artists of The Diaspora with The Continent.
The free concert will feature performances from Chance the Rapper, Vic Mensa, Erykah Badu, T-Pain, Jeremih, Sarkodie, Tobe Nwigwe, Asakaa Boys and M.anifest.
