The Council of the Ghana Communication Technology University has paid a courtesy call on President Akufo-Addo at the Jubilee House.
The meeting was to introduce the newly inducted Council and outline their vision to the President.
The Council Chairman, Prof. Kofi Awusabo-Asare said ”it is his vision to make the University the centre of Telecommunication in Africa”.
The University which was formerly Ghana Telecom University has now been converted into a Public University.
The Council Chairman was grateful to the government.
The President said the government will do its part to enable the University to succeed.
