Frafra Catholic Youth wing holds cultural festival to promote unity

The Accra Frafra Catholic youth has held a ceremony to promote unity and cultural values among the Frafra coomunity in Accra. The Frafra Cathlic youth which came together has been in existence for almost two decades.

Speaking at the ceremony was the paramount chief of the Nangoodi Traditional area of the upper east region Nangonaab Naperiyong Asage Yelzoye entreated the youth not to abolish their culture to the western life because keeping up to their culture tells who they are and where they come from.

The Paramount chief also advice the youth to embrace education to enable them live decent lives.

Chairman of the Saint Paul II of the Frafra Catholic youth wing Accra diocese Eric Ayoo says the celebration is an annual ritual which is done to promote unity among the youth in the church.

He said, this ritual will continue to be a yearly affair which will help the youth in enterprenural development.
