The Volta Regional Football Association (VRFA) has signed a sponsorship deal with Adonai Estate Limited to become its official headline sponsor for the 2022/2023 league season at a brief ceremony in Ho, the Volta Regional capital.
This is the first time the Regional FA is getting a headline sponsor for its top-tier league in the region.
The two establishments signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to seal the trailblazing deal amounting to GHC 25,000.00.
According to the Volta FA, “the Division Two League will henceforth be called Adonai Volta Division Two League” for the 2022/2023 league season.
The Regional FA Chairman, Daniel Agbogah revealed that 60% of the sponsorship deal will be used to subsidize officiating fees for Division Two clubs in the region.
He lauded Adonai Estate for a historic partnership with an assurance of protecting the corporate image of the real estate company through football.
The Regional FA chairman is confident the partnership will attract other potential sponsors.
“Today we are here making history for our region, if not the entire country, considering Regional Football Associations. We look forward to ensuring that the corporate image of Adonai is protected in the partnership to convince more sponsors,” Mr. Agbogah said.
“On behalf of the Executive Council and all stakeholders of the RFA, I commend Adonai Estate Limited for opening its doors for us to attain this status. We are grateful for this historic moment. When we say we want to make Volta a model region through football we mean it. And we know that it will only be a collective effort of everyone including the corporate society to realize the dream,” he added.
The CEO of Adonai Estate Limited, Rev. Dr. Bright Adonai expressed his excitement about the deal. He noted that the company “takes key interest in the development of the youth.”
Mr. Bright Adonai disclosed he witnessed the regional league last season and he is convinced that when the league is supported the region will evolve in the football enterprise.
“I’m very happy to be in this partnership with the RFA, i have been a fan of football, and I watched the immediate past season. I believe strongly we can help develop the Division when we all put our hands on deck.”
“The League was full of talent and I was surprised to see the level of quality being displayed by these young ones. Adonai Estate is a company that believes in youth empowerment and development.”

Adonai Estate Ltd is a Registered Real Estate Company that sells litigation-free lands for commercial and residential purposes in Ho and other parts of the country.
The company is poised to build the biggest city close to Ho in the Volta Region called the Adonai Estate Airport Golf City.
Adonai Estate currently has a client base of over 3000 who have purchased over 4500 plots of our lands.
The Volta Regional Division Two League is set to be launched on February 3 2023 with the league starting on February 10, 2023, at various game centers across the region.
