Trial of former Deputy Finance Minister, Cassiel Ato Forson, and two others at the Accra High Court has been adjourned to Thursday, February 9, because one of the accused persons is said to be indisposed.

Dr Ato Forson together with a former Chief Director at the Ministry of Health, Sylvester Anemana, and a businessman, Richard Jakpa, have been charged with five counts, including willfully causing financial loss to the state, abetment of crime, contravention of the Public Procurement Act, and intentionally misapplying public property.

They are alleged to have caused the state to lose more than two million Euros in a deal to purchase some 200 ambulances for the country between 2014 and 2016.
