More than 500 residents of the Tema Metropolis have benefited from free health screening and NHIS Registration organised by the Greater Accra Regional Coordinating Council, as part of activities marking the 66th Independence Day Celebration.
They benefited from eye screening, Ear, Nose, and Throat diagnosis; Dental, Blood Sugar, hepatitis B; COVID-19 vaccination, and General Consultation.
Greater Accra Regional Director of Health Service, Dr. Charity Sarpong, emphasised the need for individuals to check their health status regularly, to help contribute to the development of the nation.
Tema Metropolitan Health Director, Dr. Sally Quartey, encouraged people, who are yet to take Covid-19 jabs, to visit any health facility for the vaccination.
