Ahead of Black Stars double header Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) Qualifier with Angola, Coach Chris Hughton has announced a 21 man squad.
The former Brighton Hove Albion manager who took over from Otto Addo was in charge of the teama as a Technical Director during the Qatar World Cup which the team exited Group H with 3 points alongside Portugal, South Africa and Uruguay.
Ghana were drawn in Group E alongside Angola, Central Africa Republic and Madagascar. Having played a 1-1 draw with the Wild Beast of Central Africa and a 3-0 victory against the Barea of Madagascar, the Black Stars sit at the top of the table with 4 points.
Coach Chris who will be taking charge of his first game have named Joseph Painstil and Majeed Ashimeru.
The first match will be on Thursday 23rd March 2023 at the Baba Yara Stadium while the return leg will be played on the 27th in Angola.
