The Presbyterian Boys Senior High School has launched its 85th anniversary and thanksgiving in Accra. The long year celebration which began last month will be climaxed in November 2023.
Headmaster of the School, David Odidja said the school has served Ghana not only on the educational front but produced students who have contributed immensely to the socio economic development of Ghana and the world.
Established in 1938, the Presbyterian Boys Senior High School has trained several thousands of boys who have become adults serving in several capacities both in Ghana and abroad.
Headmaster of the school, David Odidja said it is a great pleasure to see the impact the school has caused in it 85 years of existence. He asked old boys and the public to join in the long year anniversary celebration.
An Old Boy Odadea Mike Ocquaye whose speech was read by his son Ambassador Mike Ocquaye Jnr said it is time the church is allowed to have full control of it schools to install the discipline that is lost in the education system especially at the senior high level.
He recounted fond memories of his time at PRESEC with other notable personalities saying PRESEC made him who he is.
Keynote Speaker, Odadea Rev. Dr Ebenezer Markwei said a school such as PRESEC must be given all the needed support by government. He said the PTA is a pivotal aspect of quality education and that is why it must be allowed to play its role.
Odadea Ernest Ofori Sarpong and others unveiled the anniversary logo designed by Odadea Micheal Anane.
