For quite some time now, the issue of infertility has not skipped the lips of married couples and health practitioners. Majority of infertility issues have been attributed to women although men also stand the test of infertility.

Some causes of infertility can be linked to tubal blockages and Pelvic Inflammatory Diseases

A Global Health Expert and Medical Director and Chief Executive Officer of the Nature’s Green Medical Centre in London, Dr. Richard Eghan has given a word of advice to men in order to protect and promote their prostate health.

He advised that, for men it is better to ejaculate more but in a very protective manner not to infect their partners.

“Men, the more we ejaculate, the more we protect our prostate health. So men have to ejaculate more often”, he said.

He revealed on GTV Breakfast Show that, a research conducted indicated that, a lot of men are suffering from what is termed as the AzooSpermia which means no or little sperm contents. He also added that the issues of Azoospermia can cause infertility among men who are experiencing such health deficiency.

Dr. Eghan further explained that the environment also contributes to the high level of infertility cases in Ghana. He stressed that the use of plastics and chemicals in our daily routines forms part of the environmental factors that disrupts the endocrine system.

He explained that plastics and chemicals negatively affect the operations of the endocrine systems and also deter the production of certain necessary chemicals needed by the human body.
