The National Democratic Congress (NDC) suffered backlash from Ghanaians over the turn of events in the 2020 election petition ruling.
Some Ghanaians accused the NDC of failing to collate their results. However, the Greater Accra Regional Chairman, Joseph Ade Coker has pointed out that the ability of the National Democratic Congress to collate its results within two hours in the Assin North by election is evident that the NDC is capable of collating its results.
According to him, the NDC was strategic about collating the results to make a point to Ghanaians.
“We always are able to collate our results. But this time around we wanted to prove to the people of Ghana that we can get our result within 2 hours”, Mr. Ade Coker insisted on the Joy News PM Express Show.
“You saw it, we had our results within two hours and it took the EC so many hours to get their results” , he further stated.
He added that the Assin North by-election was very important to the NDC because it is a prelude to what is going to happen in 2024.
