The Attorney General (AG) and Minister of Justice, Godfred Dame has directed the Police in the Central Region to carry out investigations into the assault case at Adisadel College and arraign the suspect by Friday, July 28, 2023.
The Regional Police Command together with the Regional Education Directorate and management of the Adisadel College have consequently commenced investigations into the incident at the school.
The Regional Police Commander, ACP Charles Kofi Adu, the Regional Minister, Justina Marigold Assan and some officers from the National Investigative Bureau, NIB visited the school yesterday and held a closed-door meeting with the management.
The Regional Minister after the meeting said information on the issue is scanty because the headmaster was not available.
Before her team arrived, a team of police personnel, including investigators, had been to the school with some staff of the Regional Education Directorate to carry out related investigations.
