“Broken Heart” is a new film made by EBD Media to educate youth on issues relating to relationships.
At the premiere of the movie at the Crown Liberty Hotel on August 4, the producer for the movie, Mr Joseph Paintsil, said the movie talks about the real-life situations that confront young people daily, especially when it comes to making choices.
He urged television stations to show movies with local content. He said many things go into movie productions in the country, and this brings a lot of financial burden to producers.
He, therefore, employed corporate bodies to assist in their production to reduce the burden on them.
He concluded that there are many projects that the production will embark on in the coming months and that the public should look out for more interesting stories and movies.
The lead cast of the movie, Jennifer Laryea, said the movie teaches to stay focused on people who come into the lives of young people, adding that money is not a determining factor in identifying true love.
The lead character, Victor Forson, said the movie talks about the true life story of somebody who narrated her ordeal to him, and the production decided to educate the public about the experience.
He advised that young people should not depend on people who truly love and care about them. He added that young people should not hasten to take decisions that will have an impact in the future. Finally, he urged the media to partner with their production house to help push their work.
Some of the people who came to watch the movie concluded that they had learned a lot from it.
