It has been two years since Special Prosecutor Kissi Agyebeng was appointed.

Mr. Agyebeng took up the appointment following the unexpected resignation of Martin Amidu.

The Office of the Special Prosecutor was created by President Akufo-Addo as part of his efforts to fight corruption and corruption-related offences. So, how has Mr. Agyebeng fared in his two years in office?

In a publication, the office catalogued a number of interventions the OSP has made, including the successful completion of five major investigations and ongoing trials of five other cases.

However, others believe the inability of the Office to successfully complete one single prosecution means it is not living up to expectations.

Private Legal Practitioner and Anti-Corruption Campaigner, Martin Kpebu, however, believes otherwise.

According to him, the OSP has done very well under the circumstances.
