The Judicial Service Staff Association of Ghana (JUSAG), says attacks on judges in Ghana, with the recent invasion of the Tamale District Court goes to confirm the level of ignorance on court procedures on the part of the citizenry.
Speaking on GBC’s ‘BEHIND THE NEWS’, the General Secretary of JUSAG, Yakubu Abdulai said the safety and security of judges are paramount and therefore must be protected to enable them to dispense justice without fear or favour.
Whilst calling on the security services to offer maximum protection for judges, he advocated for intense public education on the workings of the court to help bring justice to the doorstep of the people.
