The Police in Goaso in the Ahafo Region are investigating the death of the Krontirehene of Goaso Traditional Area, Nana Yenhyira Kwadwo Kumah.
The body of Nana Yenhyira Kwadwo Kumah was discovered at a bush near the town on Monday, September 4, 2023. Information gathered indicates Nana Kwadwo Kumah went missing six days ago, on August 30, 2023, only for his body to be found on Monday.
He is believed to have been murdered.
The Police have since deposited the body at the Goaso Government Hospital mortuary.
It is learnt that the immediate Royal family of the late Nana Yenhyira Kwadwo Kumah is in a state of shock and are preparing to hold a news conference on the matter.
