Security Analyst, Adib Saani has described the interdiction of the three police officers cited in the leaked tape plotting the removal of the IGP as ill-timed.

According to him, the move will intimidate other persons from coming out to share information with the Parliamentary Committee investigating the leaked audio tape.

The Police in a statement interdicted the three high-ranking officers, COP Alex Mensah, Superintendent George Asare, and Superintendent Emmanuel Eric Gyebi.

The statement said the interdiction is in connection with the audio tape, which has become a subject matter of investigation by Parliament.

The Officers made very controversial statements against the IGP’s management of the Police service, with COP Alex Mensah describing him as the worst IGP.

Speaking on the GTV Breakfast Show with Kafui Dey, Mr. Saani said the interdiction should have come immediately when the tape came out.
