In response to Alan Kyeremanten’s recent resignation, the New Patriotic Party (NPP) has stated that countless party faithful stood steadfast in their dedication to the NPP, even when leadership roles eluded them.

At a press conference held on the 26th of September, 2023, the General Secretary of the New Patriotic Party, Justin Frimpong Kodua for the NPP, asserted that, regardless of leadership aspirations, members have dedicated themselves to NPP cause.

“Just as many faithful who had vision to lead the party and subsequently lead the country the but served the Party in various capacities and never tasted power but died holding unto the banner of our party,” he said

According to NPP, Party faithful who never had the opportunity to lead the party never resigned from the party but continued to serve the party till they were called to eternity.

“Since 1992, several party faithful have had the vision to lead the party and, subsequently, to lead the country, but sadly, as nature has its own course, only a few have had the opportunity to achieve that vision,”he stated.

The party further urged all party officials and every member to reaffirm to their dedication towards their common goal to stand together and uphold the principles that define the essence of the NPP.
