President Akufo-Addo has eulogised the late E. T. Mensah, former Minister of State and member of the Council of State, saying he was a good source of advice for him.
He said that as much as they were on different sides of the political divide, he became a very good friend right till the very end.
The President described the late E.T. Mensah as a warm, generous, and gregarious man with a keen intellect and wonderful sense of humour.
In a statement, the president said he has lost a good friend, which brings up so many emotions.
E.T. Mensah was reported dead on the evening of Sunday, October 1, while receiving treatment in South Africa.
President Akufo-Addo extended his condolences to his widow, his children, the NDC, the Chiefs and people of Ningo Prampram, the Council of State, and Ghanaians in general on the loss.
