Ten brilliant Ghanaian pupils receive  Chinese Ambassador’s awards

Ten Pupils have been honoured with Chinese Ambassador’s Awards.

The awards, is meant to appreciate the efforts of the Pupils who distinguished themselves in the study of the Chinese language in the previous academic year.

Sponsored by the Chinese Embassy in partnership with the Confucius Institute at the University of Ghana, Legon, the ceremony is marked annually to give awards to non-Chinese students and pupils who excel in the study of the Chinese language and also to encourage the learning of the language. 

This year, ten pupils from Happy Heart School at Dome Pillar Two emerged best performers in the Chinese language.

Instituted by the Chinese Embassy in Ghana in 2017,  the Ambassador’s Award is to encourage Ghanaian students to learn Chinese and to promote Ghana-China friendship.
