IGP meets stakeholders in creative industry

The Inspector General of Police, IGP, Dr George Akuffo-Dampare

has met with musicians and other industry players to jaw jaw on how to collaborate with the police to make their work easier. The meeting took place at the police headquarters in Accra.

December is an exciting month for many reasons. And there is a long list of activities in the creative arts sector to choose from.

This means, security is of importance, to fully enjoy the season of good tidings. To help maintain law and order during the festive season, the invitation by the IGP to sector players, was to discuss how the police can help to guard the peace for all to enjoy the last month of the year without incident. 

Many Ghanaian celebrities were at the encounter with the IGP. Industry players had the opportunity to express their concerns.

IGP, Dr George Akuffo-Dampare, raised some concerns for the men in uniform and also assured them that the police has their back

The IGP has had earlier encounters with the creative Arts sector since he became the inspector general of police.
