Shatta Wale cancels Wolverhampton concert over promoter’s failure to meet demands

In an unfortunate turn of events, the Self-acclaimed Dancehall King Shatta Wale has cancelled his concert which was scheduled to take place at The Hangar in Wolverhampton on November 4, 2023.

The decision was made due to unforeseen circumstances surrounding the artist’s demands, which the promoters were unable to meet.

In a statement released by Shatta Wale’s management, on Tuesday, October 31 reads; “We regret to announce the cancellation of the highly anticipated Shatta Wale concert scheduled to take place at The Hangar in Wolverhampton on November 4th, 2023. This decision has been made due to unforeseen. circumstances concerning the artist’s demands that the promoters have been unable to meet.”

It continued; “Shatta Wale, the celebrated and accomplished musician with numerous chart-topping hits to his credit, has set the gold standard in the music industry. As a result, his rider and contractual requirements are equally grand, reflecting his status as a wealthy and successful artist and a business mogul.”

The Shatta Movement Records offered an apology to the fans, saying; “We would like to extend our sincere apologies to all the fans who have been eagerly looking forward to this event. We understand the disappointment this cancellation may cause, and we share in that disappointment.”

They also assured ticket holders of a full refund.

“Refunds will be automatically issued to all ticket holders for the Shatta Wale concert. Please allow up to some days for the refund process to be completed, and we appreciate your patience in this matter, Shatta Wale’s management assures.
