President Akufo-Addo is chairing a crunch meeting of the Council of Elders, internal Election Committee and National executives of the New Patriotic Party, NPP at Alisa Hotel in Accra.
Sources say the meeting is looking at Saturday’s (November 4) election to elect a flagbearer to lead the party in the 2024 General election.
The meeting is said to be discussing other internal party matters especially developments surrounding Saturday’s election and rumours of an injunction to be placed on the exercise.
The media which was part of the meeting was excused following President Akufo Addo’s arrival.
