Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia
Presidential Candidate of the NPP
Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia was born on October 7, 1963, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia is the current vice president of the Republic of Ghana.
He holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Economics from Buckingham University, UK, a Master of Science Degree in Development Economics from Oxford University, UK, and a Ph.D. in Economics from Simon Fraser University, Canada.
He was a Deputy Governor of the Bank of Ghana until his selection as the running mate of the NPP’s presidential candidate, Nana Akufo-Addo, in the 2008 elections. He was maintained as the running mate for three consecutive times.
He was the lead witness for the petitioners in the 2012 Presidential Election Petition, which challenged the declaration of John Mahama as the winner of Ghana's 2012 presidential election.
Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia is married to Samira Bawumia. He is blessed with four children

Daniel Augustus Lartey Jnr
Presidential Candidate of the GCPP
Daniel Augustus Lartey Jnr is the flagbearer of the Great Consolidated People's Party. He is the son of Daniel Augustus Lartey, the 2000 presidential candidate of the Great Consolidated Popular Party.
Dr. Lartey was officially endorsed, along with other national party executives, during a congress held in Accra at the La Palm Royal Beach Hotel.
He was a former publisher and labour unionist, he became a household name in Ghana following his famous 2004 presidential elections campaign mantra; ‘domestication’, and also his political philosophy of growing Ghana from Ghana, rather than depending on foreign aid and investments.
Christian Kwabena Andrews
Presidential Candidate of GUM
Osofo Kyiri Abosom, popularly known as Christian Kwabena Andrews, is a Ghanaian pastor, politician, farmer, entrepreneur, and businessman. In March 2019, he launched his political party, the Ghana Union Movement (GUM). For his running mate, he appointed Abu Grant Lukeman, founder and general overseer of Life Assembly Worship Center. Osofo Kyiri Abosom has a twin with his divorced wife, Princess Andrew.
During the launch of his party, he boldly described himself as the new Kwame Nkrumah, declaring that the spirit of Nkrumah is back . He also made a pledge to break the duopoly between the New Patriotic Party and National Democratic Parties. This move aims to shake up Ghana's political landscape, which has been dominated by these two parties during the Fourth Republic.
Kofi Akpaloo
Presidential Candidate of LGP
Percival Kofi Akpaloo is a Ghanaian politician. He is the flagbearer of the Liberal Party of Ghana.
In 2011, Kofi Akpaloo funded the Independent People's Party and contested in the 2012 general elections but won no seats.In 2016, he was disqualified by the Electoral Commission to contest in the general elections which he contested in court and lost.
The IPP party was dissolved in March 2017 and then birthed the Liberal Party of Ghana, LPG with Kofi Akpaloo as the flagbearer and Margaret Obrian Sarfo as running mate.
Mohammed Frimpong
Presidential Candidate of NDP
Mohammed Frimpong is the flagbearer of the National Democratic Party(NDP).
The party was established in 2012 by Nana Konadu Agyemang, a former first lady of Ghana and the wife of former president Jerry John Rawlings.
The National Democratic Party broke out of the National Democratic Congress with Mohammed Frimpong at the helm.
Nana Akosua Frimpomaa
Presidential Candidate of the GCPP
Nana Akosua Frimpomaa Sarpong Kumankuma is a politician and the flagbearer of the Convention People's Party, CPP.
She attended the Mfantsiman Girls’ Secondary School in Saltpond for her secondary education and the Kumasi Polytechnic, where she obtained a diploma in business studies.
She obtained further education at the Washington School for Secretaries, the Montgomery Community College, and the Notre Dame University, all in the US.
According to her curriculum vitae (CV), she is also a former National Organiser of the 31st December Women’s Movement and one of the initial five people who developed the concept for the formation of the movement.
Ms. Sarpong has worked with Working Mothers Incorporated, an employment agency for domestic care in the US. While there, she was in charge of the daily interviewing of clients and customers and the placement of advertisements, among other things.
John Dramani Mahama
Presidential Candidate of the NDC
John Dramani Mahama, born November 29, 1958, served as President of the Republic of Ghana from July 24, 2012, to January 7, 2017. He's a multifaceted individual, with expertise in communication, history, and writing, and has held various roles, including Member of Parliament, Minister of State, and Vice-President of Ghana .
Mr. Mahama was born in Damango, which is in the Northern Region of Ghana. His father Mr. Emmanuel Adama Mahama was the first Member of Parliament for the West Gonja Constituency and the first Regional Commissioner of the Northern Region during Ghana's First Republic. Upon the successful completion of that programme, Mr. Mahama then went on to pursue an additional postgraduate diploma, this one in social psychology at the Institute of Social Sciences in Moscow.
After completing his education Mr. Mahama returned to Ghana and, from 1991 to 1996, he worked as the Information, Culture and Research Officer at the Embassy of Japan in Accra
Hassan Abdulai Ayariga

Hassan Ayariga was born on 4th September 1971 in Bawku in the Upper East Region of Ghana. His father Frank Abdulai Ayariga, was a member of parliament for the Bawku constituency during the third republic administration of Dr. Hilla Limann and his mother Anatu Ayariga, a business woman, whose passion for child education in the then impoverished northern sector of Ghana, made her stand her ground to ensure all her children and those in the community were educated. Hassan Ayariga is businessman, politician and the flagbearer of the All Peoples Congress political party. In 2004 he contested for the vice chairmanship of the PNC but later withdrew from the contest and supported Hon. John Ndebugri.
Hassan grew up partly in Accra and Bawku before settling in Nigeria when his parents went on Exile after the overthrow of the Limann Administration. Hassan Ayariga has a remarkable record of leadership and experience in business that embodies an unwavering passion and commitment to service.
Kofi Koranteng

Kofi Koranteng is an activist and politician and an independent candidate.
Kofi Koranteng was born on September 9, 1966, at the Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital in Accra. His proud parents, Elizabeth Nyanteh and Reynolds Otchere-Koranteng, were dedicated civil servants.
His mother was an administrative assistant at Osu Castle. His father was a Police Officer. Kofi was welcomed into the family by three older sisters, Otcherewa, Abayare, and Ohenewa.
He had his primary school education in Accra at Aggrey Memorial and continued in Kumasi at Garrison Primary. He had his Senior High School Education at Adisadel College located in Cape Coast and holds a degree in economics and business from the New York University.
Kofi was raised in a family that was proud of Ghana by parents who had great hopes for the future prosperity of the country and their children. His parents were both raised in the Eastern Region in the town of Akropong Akuapim.
George Twum-Barimah-Adu

George Twum-Barima-Adu is an Independent Presidential Candidate
George Twum-Barimah-Adu (Uncle George) was born on 18 August 1963, the third child of the late Frank Brako Adu Snr, (Teacher Adu), a public servant and the late Beatrice Mariam Ama Acheampong, a government school teacher at Old Tafo.
Uncle George attended Castle Road Methodist Primary School (Adabraka), Englebert School (Airport Residential Area), and Garrison Primary (Burma Camp), before attending Presbyterian Boys’ Secondary School (PRESEC, Legon) now Presbyterian Boys’ Senior High School; from 1975 to 1980. After secondary school, uncle George pursued a bachelor’s degree in international relations from the College of Arts and Sciences, Florida International University (FIU), Miami, Florida.
Later, a Master of Arts in International Studies at the same university graduated on April 19, 1991. At FIU, he was a student senator, representing the College of Arts and Sciences.
Nana Kwame Bediako

Nana Kwame Bediako also known as Freedom Jacob Caesar or Cheddar is a Ghanaian businessman and Independent Presidential Candidate of the New Force.
He was born in Asokwa, a suburb in the Ashanti Regional capital Kumasi, Ghana. He attended Accra Academy and Apam Senior High School before proceeding to study business at the Waltham Forest College, United Kingdom.
Nana Kwame Bediako is the founder and chairman of Kwarleyz Group focused on real estate, finance and property management in West Africa, the developer of Wonda World Estate and the founder of New Africa Foundation focusing on less fortunate children providing medical, nutritional and educational support.
On January 7, 2024, Nana Kwame Bediako announced his run as presidential candidate for the New Force movement. This followed weeks of speculations where masked faces believed to be Bediako on billboards were mounted at vantage points. While his father was remarkably wealthy, his mother (who brought him up) was poor.
Alan Kwadwo Kyerematen
Independent Presidential Candidate
Alan John Kwadwo Kyerematen was born on October 3, 1955, to the late Dr. Alexander Atta Yaw Kyerematen from Patasse, Kumasi, and Victoria Kyerematen (née Welsing) from Elmina and Ejisu. He was named after an Anglican Archbishop from England, The Most Reverend Alan John Knight CMG DD, who was the Headmaster of Adisadel College and a mentor to his father, A.A.Y. Kyerematen when the elder Kyerematen was a student at the school in the 1930s. As a result of his mixed ancestry, he speaks Twi fluently. In addition, he is fluent in Ga, Fante and some French. He is married to Patricia Christabel Kyerematen (née Nyinah) who is the daughter of Justice Kingsley Nyinah, Ghana's Electoral Commissioner during the 1979 presidential election. They have two children namely Alexander and Victor. Alan John Kyerematen attended the all-boys Anglican boarding school, Adisadel College in Cape Coast for his secondary education. He entered Adisadel College at the record age of nine years.
