Endrick becomes youngest Brazilian player called up to national team since 1993

Real Madrid sensation and Brazilian rising star, Endrick has been called up to the Brazilian senior team for the first time. Endrick who signed for Real Madrid some two seasons ago becomes the youngest Brazilian since 1993 to be called up to the National team.

The youngster has featured in many youth tournaments for the Brazilian junior team. He recently reached 50 appearances for the youth side. The 17 years old has become a household name in the Brazilian league

Endrick will be crossing paths with his parent team Real Madrid in 2024, when he turns 18 years old. His form with Palmeiras has been great, which has caught the eyes of Brazilian coach Fernando Diniz, who is also the coach of the current Copa Libertadores champions Fluminense.

“He has the potential to be one of the top players. His call-up is an award, also a glimpse into the future as a boy born in 2006 producing what he does catches my attention,” said the Brazil coach.

Endricks recent game with Palmeiras which saw him score two goals really sparked some attention in the Brazilian league. His team currently sits second in the Brazilian league.

He has scored 8 goals in 25 games played for his club side this season, he has beaten his XG by more than 2 this season. He really had a difficult season last year.

His parent club Real Madrid has been in constant contact to check on his progress.
