Ghanaian Afropop and Afrobeats sensation, Raphael Camidoh Kofi Attachie, has unveiled an exciting development in his career — a collaboration with the renowned American rapper, Snoop Dogg.
Camidoh, recognized for his nice vocals and Afro-fusion flair, shared this significant milestone, emphasizing not only his expanding international influence but also the global resonance of Afrobeats.
The ‘Adoley’ singer, however, has opted for a low-key approach in publicizing this collaboration, citing that he prefers to talk about it when the actual song is released.
During an exclusive interview on One radio station in Accra, Camidoh stated: “Sometimes you want to talk about it when the record is out. I’m the type of person who is more about the record and my PR managers do the talking. I just do the recording and the performances.”
This year, the accomplished musician has achieved notable collaborations, including works with Snoop Dogg, Big Nasty from the UK, Diana, and more, although these tracks are yet to be unveiled.
The announcement has stirred anticipation among fans, eagerly awaiting the fusion of these two distinct musical worlds.
