Myziane Maolida’s solo goal broke the hearts of Ghanaians and the Black Stars in Group I’s Match Day 2 as Comoros picked up vital 3 points in the World Cup qualifying match. The game ended in a 1-0 against the Black Stars of Ghana after 90 minutes of play plus additional time.
The defeat is Black Stars’ second consecutive loss against Comoros after their 2021 AFCON 3-2 defeat at the group stage.
With their home supporters cheering them on to victory, the Coelacanth of Comoros went up to make yet another statement and impress their fans.
The Black Stars had no answers to the questions the boys of Comoros were putting to them, as they allowed them to secure all three points.
This victory pushed Comoros to the top of the table. Comoros have secured six points from their last two games, giving them some momentum to go for another victory in their next matches.
This defeat puts Ghana in 4th place after accumulating 3 points in two games.
