Mario Balotelli involved in car crash; escapes unhurt

Former Manchester City and Inter Milan striker, Mario Balotelli has been involved in a crucial car accident in Brescia – Italy. According to Italian newspaper Fatto Quotidiano, the incident happened around Orzinuovi, in Brescia, Balotelli’s hometown, around 8.30 pm.

The Italian allegedly lost control of his Audi Q8 car, which is estimated at a price of £100,000.

Mario Balotelli, 33, managed to climb out of his car, unhurt and was attended to by paramedics to access the situation but the striker escaped any serious injuries. 

Per reports from Sky Sports, local police attempted to give Balotelli a breathalyzer test after he survived the crash, but he refused. Upon his refusal the police was forced to ask for his drivers license.

Balotelli currently plays with Turkish side Adana Demirspor on a one-year deal. He has found the back of the net three times in his first five matches for the Turkish side.
