The University of Ghana (UG) Business School Management, has commiserated with the family of the late Dennis Twumasi-Ankrah, the student who died after being attacked by robbers while returning to his hostel.
According to reports, Dennis Twumasi-Ankrah, a Weekend student of the University of Ghana Business School who enrolled in the Master of Science in Procurement and Supply Chain program, was attacked by two people while returning to his hostel. He was pushed by the robbers into the road after resisting attacks and refusing demands for his belonging and got hit by a vehicle.
In a statement released by management of the school, it described the incident as unfortunate and regrettable and extended their deepest condolences to the family and loved ones of the deceased.
The university cautioned the public to desist from peddling unsubstantiated claims about the cause of his death.
According to them, the cause of Twumasi-Ankrah’s death is being investigated by the police and they will update the general public upon receipt of the police report.
