Asante Kotoko have qualified for the Round 32 stage of the 2023/2024 MTN FA Cup after a 4-2 victory as they defeated Nations FC.
During the game, Asante Kotoko took the lead within the first 10 minutes of the first half, and they maintained an impressive performance from one of their strikers, Steven Mukwala.
Isaac Oppong also doubled the lead for Kotoko within the first 12 minutes of the first half.
Later, Richmond Lamptey scored a goal for the Porcupine Warriors.
However, Nations FC scored two consolation goals but still couldn’t come out of their bad performance in order to win Kotoko.
With this result, Nations FC must now shift their focus entirely to the Ghana Premier League, while Kotoko continues to compete in both the league and cup competitions.
