OSP chases 6 persons over alleged vote buying, other election-related corruption

The Office of the Special Prosecutor (OSP) has declared six people wanted for their alleged involvement in corruption and corruption-related offences during the parliamentary elections organised by the governing New Patriotic Party.

The NPP over the weekend held its parliamentary elections in orphan constituencies.

Issues of vote buying were rife as delegates flaunted monies received from aspirants on camera.

For this reason, the Office of the Special Prosecutor has started an investigation into the matter.
