Black Queens and Ampem Darkoa full-back, Comfort Yeboah has made the list of the final 3 candidates for the CAF women’s Young Player of the Year award.

Comfort Yeboah had an impressive CAF Women’s Champions League campaign with Ampem Darkoa, scoring some important goals which helped push her team to the semi-final stage of the tournament, where she scored two goals for her side.

Comfort’s spark in the tournament came alive when she remarkably took on ASFAR Club, single-handedly in their opening game of the tournament, by scoring the first goal and forcing an own goal on the side of ASFAR Club.

This nomination makes her the second Ampem Darkoa player to earn a spot in the 2023 CAF Awards after teammate Jennifer Owusuwaa’s mind-blowing goal from 30 yards got nominated for goal of the year.

Comfort Yeboah will be given a tough challenge by her opponent in the likes of Nesryne El Chao from Morocco and Deborah Abiodun from Nigeria.
