Ghanaian striker Joseph Paintsil has been putting up some numbers in the Belgium Pro League, and this weekend wasn’t different as he scored a brace for his club KRC Genk in their 4-0 trashing of Kortrijk

Since last season, the Ghanaian has been a formidable name in the Belgium Pro League, leading the attack with a handful of the club’s goals.

Joseph Paintsil got his side into the lead in the early minutes of the game when he scored in the 23rd minute before adding his second in the 54th minute to cap off his brace. His remarkable performance gives the Black Stars a boost heading into AFCON in a few weeks.

Joseph Paintsil has been involved in 10 of Genk’s goals this season, scoring 6 goals and making 4 assists in 18 matches. He will be looking forward to making great contributions to the team’s progress this season.

Genk sit at 5th on the league log with 31 points after 18 games, which is the championship playoff zone.
