Palgrave Boakye-Danquah determined to unseat Deputy Education Minister in Abuakwa North Constituency

The Government’s Spokesperson on Governance and Security, Palgrave Boakye-Danquah has urged New Patriotic Party, NPP, delegates to have the future of the youth at the back of their minds when electing their Parliamentary Candidate in the Abuakwa North Constituency.

He urged the delegates to repose trust in him by voting for him during the January 2024 Parliamentary primaries of the New Patriotic Party, NPP, to become the Parliamentary Candidate of the party in the constituency.

Mr.  Boakye-Danquah made the appeal when he filed his nomination at the party’s office in Kukurantumi to contest the Abuakwa North Constituency parliamentary seat. 

The Government’s Spokesperson on Governance and Security, Mr. Boakye-Danquah since the beginning of 2023 has been embarking on various activities such as health walks, socialization and counselling exercises to help mobilize the grassroots of the party in the constituency.

He also embarked on some developmental projects for the constituents such as the construction of mechanized boreholes for some communities in the constituency.

After a successful process, Mr. Boakye-Danquah will come face to face with the Deputy Minister of Education in charge of Technical, Vocational, Education and Training, TVET, Gifty Twum-Ampofo who will be seeking for her third term for the Parliamentary Candidate slot in the constituency.

In an interview with the media in Kukurantumi after filing his nomination, Mr. Boakye-Danquah urged the delegates to consider the long-term goals when selecting a candidate during the January 2024 NPP Parliamentary primaries.

He indicated that when given the nod to become the NPP Parliamentary Candidate for the Constituency and consequently voted for to become the Member of Parliament, he will ensure that there is equity in development distribution in the constituency. 

Mr.  Boakye-Danquah spoke about some development projects he has embarked on in the constituency.

The Chairman of the Council of Elders of the NPP in Abuakwa North and the Chairman of the Election Committee of the Party, Douglas Emusah advised the aspirants to talk about issues and policies that they will bring on board and not attack their fellow aspirants.
