The Vice President of Ghana, Dr. Alhaji Mahamudu Bawumia, has expressed his excitement and confidence about the year 2024.
Dr. Bawumia, in his New Year message to Ghanaians, described the year 2024 as an opportunity to review the old years and reset ourselves for the future. He also tagged the year as a period to reaffirm and recommit to what has worked while exploring new paths to a world of possibilities.
“The year opens the door for us to review the old year and reset ourselves for the future, reaffirm and recommit to what has worked while exploring new paths to a world of possibilities. I am excited and extremely confident about 2024,” he said.
The flagbearer for the New Patriotic Party also called on Ghanaians to collectively dig deep and renew the spirit of patriotism in order to achieve national success. He urged Ghanaians to begin the year with hope and optimism and show pride in the rich Ghanaian heritage and culture. This, he believes, will lift the country to a better and higher height.
He reiterated the government’s dedication and commitment to making the lives of Ghanaians better. He pledged the government’s continuous effort to build a modern and resilient economy, which is catalysed by digitalization.
“Beloved Ghanaians I must reaffirm our government’s commitment to making life better for all our citizens. We shall continue our efforts to build a modern and resilient economy catalysed by digitalization,” he added.
He further mentioned that the government is still committed to preparing the youth to be ready for the future through the creation of greater opportunities for all genders to fulfill their individual dreams that will contribute to a national goal. He tagged the year 2024 as a year of greater possibilities.
