Energies are still high as residents of Tamale are throwing massive Support for Chef Failatu at Cook-A-Thon Day 8.
People are still trooping to Modern City Hotel to witness the Chef who is planning to go beyond 200 hours in the Guinness World Record attempt for the longest cooking marathon.
So far local music artists and various dance groups have passed through. Warriors Dancers from the Upper East Region, Ghana Builders Association and some comedians came in their numbers to show their love and also entertain the crowd.
Also, Gonja Youth Association, Bonzali Rural Bank, Ghana Home Economics Teachers Association, NDC Professionals Forum Northern Chapter and some former Municipal Chief Executives came by to support and donate some food items to Chef Failatu.
The enthusiasm of the attendees are so high that some have indicated that they are not settling for less as they hope that Chef Failatu will break the record with a good margin.
Some persons have praised the people of Tamale for their warm support indicating that people of the North have a unique way of supporting their own. As of the time of filling this report, our Northern Regional Correspondent, Joyce Kantam Kolamong, says Chef Failatu has covered 181 hours 20 minutes.
