A tragic car crash involving vehicles associated with Wife of the Vice President, Samira Bawumia occurred at Ohene-Nkwanta near Nobewam, situated off the Kumasi-Accra Highway.
Regrettably, an individual identified as Fuseini, who had been serving as the Samira Bawumia’s bodyguard since 2008 and was part of the Vice President’s family, lost his life in the collision.
In the motor accident that transpired on the Kumasi-Accra Highway, the convoy included two Toyota Land Cruisers, a Mercedes Benz car, and a Sprinter Benz bus.
The collision resulted in one fatality, with Samira Bawumia reportedly in good health and unharmed.
The accident, which occurred near Nobewam in the Ejisu-Juaben Municipality of the Ashanti Region, left four individuals with severe injuries out of the eight reported victims.
The deceased, who was part of Samira’s entourage, is yet to be officially identified.
The convoy was en route to the Ashanti Region when the unfortunate incident took place.
