Most Ghanaians have attributed the Black Stars draw to pressure on the players to win.

Ghana lost their lead to draw against Egypt in the second group game after losing the first game to Cape Verde.

Black Stars succumbed to defensive errors, which have attracted a lot of criticism among some fans.

Speaking to the media during the mandatory press conference ahead of the game against Mozambique, defender Denis Odoi said that blaming individuals for the goals is wrong.

“We don’t blame any individual. We win together, and we lose together. I don’t think it’s due to the pressure, just that at this level, you make certain mistakes, and unfortunately, we have to pay for it. I don’t think it’s creeping in someone’s head. I think we need to learn from it and try to avoid such mistakes.”

The 35-year-old defender is chasing his 13 appearance for the national team as he expects to be given a starting role in the final group game.
