Voting is progressing smoothly at the Weija-Gbawe constituency where the New Patriotic Party (NPP) is conducting one of its parliamentary primaries.
By midday, a little over 700 delegates out of a total of 1,210 had cast their ballot.
The remaining are waiting patiently in a queue to exercise their voting right.
Polls expected to close at 1400 hours, but delegates still in line would be allowed to vote before counting begins, according to authorities.
