Information Minister Kojo Oppong Nkrumah has successfully retained his position in the New Patriotic Party primaries in the Ofoase Ayirebi constituency in the Eastern Region.

The results reveal a commanding performance by Oppong Nkrumah, securing 378 votes.

The current Member of Parliament for the area, Mr. Oppong Nkrumah, outpaced his opponents, with Maxwell Osei Gyamara polling 100 votes, Lawyer Eric Owusu Mensah securing 92 votes, and 2 votes being rejected.

As the results were tallied, it became evident that Kojo Oppong Nkrumah was poised for victory, winning by a significant margin.

The polls occurred in 105 constituencies across the country, with a few incumbent MPs who were unopposed and some losing their seats.
