African Games 2023: Group stage draw for Black Satellites and Black Princesses confirmed

The draw for the 13th African Games has finally been confirmed, with some interesting teams finding themselves in some heated groups in the men’s football category. The groups are categorised into two, which are Groups A and B.
 
Ghana, as the host nation, has been slated in Group A with some formidable opponents in the likes of The Gambia, Benin, and Congo in the same bracket, as they will be looking to cause an upset for the host nation.
 
As Group A runs up with some good teams, Group B accommodated five of Africa’s top teams, with Nigeria, South Sudan, Senegal, Uganda, and Tunisia all making the group.
 
On the flip side, the Black Princesses will take on Tanzania, Uganda, and Ethiopia. While defending champions Nigeria settle matters with Senegal, Cameroon, and Morocco in Group A.
 
The All African Games, Accra 2023, would be held in Accra at the Borteyman Sports Complex and the Legon Athletics Oval as 54 countries battle it out for honours in different sporting disciplines, of which football headlines.

The 13th African Games are slated to start from March 8th to March 23rd, 2024. Ghana will host the games for the first time, with 54 countries representing 30 sporting departments.
